ILCA Fund Committee Members:
Todd Wake, Matt Burridge, John Bennett, David Starck, Bill Fastiggi

Members are appointed annually at the Mid Winter Meeting by the ILCA President, who also designates one committee member as the Committee Chairperson.

Use of Contributions:
Contributions to the Fund shall be expended by the ILCA for the following purposes:

a) to establish an endowment of funds which may be drawn to fund the ordinary expenses of the ILCA:
b) to pay the ordinary operating expenses of the ILCA;
c) to advertise and promote the sport of Lightning class sailing;
d) to develop technology for the improvement of materials and technique used in the construction of Lightning class sail boats;
e) to provide for re-design or re-drawing or new plans regarding any changes, modernization or updating of Lightning construction plans which may, from time to time, be required;
f) to promote the sport of Lightning class sailing among young persons;
g) to fund Lightning class regatta attendance for qualified sailors;
h) to fund Lightning class regattas;
i) to fund the scholastic efforts of qualified persons who are associated with the sport of Lightning class sailing;
j) to promote and solicit charitable contributions to the ILCA; and
k) for any purpose which is intended to further the sport of sailing Lightning class yachts not specified in the above by the written instruction of the chairman of the Fund Committee.
