FLEET CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES completed on November 3.  Like the New York Yankees, Frank Gallagher is a dynasty and wins again.  Pat McGee worked through some bad days with persistence and good humor to take this year's runner-up.  Over the year 23 boats participated.   The final results.

FALL SUNDAY SERIES completed on November 3.  Drew Hudson & Sousan Arafeh win it.  Second goes to Pat McGee, Jill Williamson and Ian MacLeod.  Third goes to Jeff Storck, and Craig Huzway.  Fourth goes to Rick Welch and Denise Malueg.   18 boats participated in the series.  10 did half or more of the races.   FINAL RESULTS

BLOODY RUDDER SERIES completed with the Borderline regatta.  Nabeel did 8 of these regattas and the ACCs to win the first annual award of this Fleet 50 traveler's perpetual trophy.  The trophy and its rules.

BORDERLINE REGATTA on October 26 and 27.  25 boats competed.  Harry Keith and Joe Anderson from our fleet went.  Because of the low water level on Kerr Lake, they sailed on Lake Gaston this year.  Jill Williamson crewed for Jamie Brickell.  They came in 5th.

FRIGIT DIGIT REGATTA at SSA on October 19 and 20.  47 boats competed in this regatta.  From Fleet 50 Frank, Pat, Nabeel, Red, Joe Anderson, and Harry Keith competed.  Frank kept his boat upright and got a 6 in the last race.  Pat capsized and broke his mast in two places in the first race.  Nabeel capsized but self rescued with this spinnaker flying in the shrouds in the 3rd race.  Red with Mike Beaver and Amee Devine got a very respectable 23 in the 3rd race.  Harry got a 25 in race 3.  Joe got a 34 in race 2.  Needless to say, we struggled.  Here are the results.

HELMS REGATTA SATURDAY OCTOBER 5.   6 skippers from the PRSA fleets will competed against each other in 6 match races sailed in Lasers, Albacores, and Lightnings.  Thacher Tiffany from our fleet and the Lasers won all six of his races and won the regatta.  Defending champions, Drew Hudson, won 4 races to tie for second.  His 3 capsizes didn't help his cause.  More details & pictures

FALLS SERIES #6 is complete.   8 boats came out for #6; Jeff took 3 bullets.  12 boats came out for #5, 10 boats came out for #4.  The wind was whachy the the course shallow.  15 boats came out for #3 but the wind died and didn't come back.  Back on shore, we compensated with a great picnic.  9 boats were there for #2 while 2 more went to the Solomons Regatta.  Everyone was rewarded with a beautiful day and 10-15 knot breezes.  Drew won it but the PRO noted how everyone was overlapped at the finished.   11 boats were there on the first day despite the dreary weather.  Frank won it but there was a lot of competition behind him.   RESULTS SO FAR
