As many of you know, Yates and I and the SO athletes that we train with during the summers, were selected as part of Team USA Sailing to compete in the Special Olympics World Games in Shanghai, China.  We have a send off party on Tues. evening and then fly out early Wed. morning.  We will be in Shanghai from Sept. 26th until October 12th.  There will be 7000 SO athletes competing from 151 countries in numerous sports (e.g., equestrian, tennis, bocce, basketball, etc., and of course sailing!).  Yates and I and our athletes are 4 out of the 12 on the USA Sailing Team.  Rumor has it that there will be athletes competing in sailing from 81 different countries.  Should be an experience of a lifetime.
