Thursday was a weird wind day -- a
morning thunderstorm before the first race; one race in good SW breezes
12 - 14 MPH, and a second race in a dying breeze that left the last
boats fighting the incoming tide in their attempts to round the weather
mark. Friday was an outstanding racing day, weather-wise, with 8 - 10
MPH SW winds. Saturday started out well, with 10 - 12 NW winds, but thy
died in the middle of the second race, and did not come up again until
after the race was abandoned and the boats towed in.
